Solar Cells Hellas is the first vertically integrated PV producer in Southeast Europe, operating state-of-the art production equipment, of the highest industrial standards, to produce high quality wafers, cells and modules.
The technology employed is multicrystalline silicon, which is one of the oldest and most proven technologies for photovoltaic applications. Monocrystalline and multicrystalline solar cells have been used for numerous applications and still today, with many alternative technologies available they enjoy more than 80% of the global market share in photovoltaics. With more than 12000MWp of crystalline silicon photovoltaics installed around the world, the reliability of the technology has been demonstrated in all geographical regions around the globe, providing the highest efficiencies of all commercially available technologies saving substantially on space requirements and installation costs.
The continuous technological development and economies of scale have constantly reduced the production cost in the last 20 years and cost competitiveness with alternative technologies is guaranteed ensuring market domination in the short and long term.

SCH Group completed successfully in mid June the first six solar parks, at the area of Kalyvakia, in the Perfecture of Lakonia, with total nominal power of 600kW.
Other PV parks are in progress which are owned by three of the subsidiaries of SCH Group, with total capacity of 9.5MW in the area of Lehena in Elia.

PV modules SCH660P combine top quality and energy efficiency. Among other special characteristics, they are distinguished for their high durability to environmental conditions such as snow, strong winds, high humidity, IEC 61215:2005 certified to resist extreme loads of 2400 Pa and 5400 Pa.
