Solar Cells Hellas was founded in 2006 and constitutes the first production unit of the Group, with an annual capacity of 20MWp for wafer and 30MWp for cells production. The building, covering an area of 6800m2, located on privately owned land of 21700 m2 houses state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring production of the highest international standards. It is in operation since the second half of 2008 and in full operation will employ 126 people.
The production facilities of the Group are complemented with the equipment of Soltech, which was founded in 2006 and has the production capacity of 40ΜWp for wafers, 30MWp for cells and 30MWp for panels, thus covering the market needs for PV system installations. The building is located on the same plot as that of Solar Cells Hellas covering an area of 7200 m2, while 116 new working places are created. The equipment has been purchased from leading suppliers in Germany, Switzerland and the US and is using the most advanced technology for production and quality control according to the most stringent requirements in the sector.
RENI SA provides energy services and turn-key solutions. The main fields of activity are the promotion and realization of RES power systems and energy saving projects. The company, supplying high level integrated services aspires to contribute to the Greek and European targets for the increase of RES in the energy mix and energy saving in buildings and industry.
Other Companies
Apart from production and services, the Group is also investing in its own technology. With five subsidiary companies (Solar Concept, Spes Solaris, Solar Datum, Utilitas Solaris and 4 «Ε» Energiaki) 27MWp of PV plants are in the process of development and installation on privately owned fields in Greece.
